Today the chairman of the LU Board of Trustees, Sandy Sosa-Guerrero FACHE, RN, BSN, MBA-HA, announced officially that the Board of Trustees has appointed the current interim CEO Dr. Rudi H. Ettrich RNDR, MSc, PhD as the University’s next permanent chief executive officer, effective immediately. Ettrich, who initially served as Dean of LU’s College of Biomedical Sciences, had served as interim CEO since the departure of the organization’s first Provost/CEO, Cecilia Rokusek, EdD, MSc, RDN. in August 2018.
“We are convinced that Dr. Rudi Ettrich was an inspired choice by our Board and one I expect the team at Larkin University will enthusiastically support.” said Sosa-Guerrero.
Ettrich stated, “In the past four months it has been a pleasure working closely with a committed and supportive Board of Trustees and the compassionate and dedicated faculty and staff at our University and we have made great progress. I am truly thankful to the Board for placing their trust and confidence in my abilities to assume the office of the CEO and it is my honor and privilege to accept this position.”
