As we get closer to having COVID-19 vaccines, it is becoming increasingly important to have in place a way to deliver the vaccines to people who may be the most vulnerable, including those living in underserved communities. Here at Larkin we believe in doing our part to meet this challenge; many of our students come from these communities. As part of our curriculum, all Larkin pharmacy students receive immunization training. And, when available, our students will receive special instruction in delivering COVID-19 vaccines. It is just another way to demonstrate our belief in fairness, health care accessibility, and social justice. However, providing this special training will not be without additional costs. We thank you for your donations to help support our COVID-19 immunization certification program, our diverse body of students and their striving to solve the many health care issues facing us today.
