Walk the Swamp with Fulbright
The South Florida Fulbright Association Chapter invites current Fulbright grantees, alumni and prospective scholars to a unique Florida Experience deep in the heart of the Everglades, a swamp walk in the largest strand swamp of the world, the Fakahatchee Strand.
This swamp walk, lead by an experienced biologist, will immerse you in the beauty and diversity of the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve. Certainly, this is a unique once-in-a- lifetime highlight for visiting grantees that they will always remember when being back home. Participants wade in cool water for half a day observing the native wildlife and plants in the heart of the Fakahatchee.
