Teaching Interests
Dr. Levitsky joins the Larkin faculty after more than 25 years in Pharmacy Practice including,
several health-system leadership roles including Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, Investigational
Drug Services Coordinator, and Director of Pharmacy positions. For the past several years, she
has been focused on clinical and regulatory aspects of oncology clinical trials, including patient
education related to their oncology therapies, including investigational treatments.
Throughout her career, Dr. Levitsky has mentored pharmacy students in early and advanced
experiential rotations. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy and Residency in Primary
Care/Geriatrics from University of Rhode Island.
Scholarly Interests
Dr. Levitsky’ s scholarly interest is centered around appropriate management of oncology and
hematology pharmacotherapy, with a particular focus on the management of sickle-cell
disease.
