Dr. Anthony Allen Reeves is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Larkin University College of Pharmacy (LUCOP) in Miami, Florida. He was born in Tampa, FL and raised in Key West, FL. He attended Nova Southeastern University, where he earned a BS in Biology. He continued his education at Larkin University College of Pharmacy, earning a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, and was part of the first graduating cohort. Upon graduation he completed a two-year academic fellowship at Larkin University College of Pharmacy. The following year he completed a PGY1 and then proceed to complete a PGY2 in Ambulatory Care at Memorial Regional Hospital. Anthony is currently employed at Memorial Regional Hospital as a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Specialist caring for Sickle Cell patients.
Dr. Allen Reeves’ research interests include HIV, T2DM, Sickle Cell Disease, and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Dr. Allen Reeves has been active in professional pharmacy organizations (ASHP, FPA, FSHP, Kappa Psi). He also has published his research in reputable journals and serves as an article reviewer for journals.
