Larkin University Launches 2025 Summer Research Program for Aspiring Scientists

Miami Gardens, FL – April 14, 2025 – Larkin University is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated Larkin University Summer Research Program (LUSRP) for Summer 2025. This competitive, hands-on research opportunity is open to qualified high school juniors and seniors, as well as undergraduate students who are eager to gain real-world research experience in pharmaceutical, clinical, and biomedical sciences.

Running from June 9 to August 1, 2025, LUSRP provides students with the chance to work closely with Larkin University’s expert faculty on cutting-edge research projects tailored to their academic interests. Through this immersive eight-week program, participants will not only develop valuable lab skills, but also engage in a vibrant learning environment that supports their academic and professional growth.

At the conclusion of the program, students will showcase their findings during a Mini Symposium, building confidence and communication skills essential for future careers in the health and biomedical fields. In addition to research, participants will benefit from career counseling, mentorship, and networking opportunities with professionals in the sciences.

Applications are now open, with a deadline of May 15, 2025. To be eligible, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a transcript along with a short essay outlining their research interests and motivation for applying. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an online interview prior to final selection.
