OUR HISTORY

Larkin University, founded in 2013 as Larkin Health Sciences Institute, is a private not-for-profit educational institution that offers graduate degrees in Pharmacy, Physican Assistant Studies and Biomedical Sciences. Larkin University was created to support the education and health care needs of South Florida’s diverse communities. With a focus on small class sizes and individual attention from student-centered faculty and staff, the University has created an intellectual environment that promotes optimal learning. Located in North Miami, Florida, the College of Pharmacy (COP) offers a graduate Doctor of Pharmacy degree, the School of Physician Assistant Studies (PA) offers a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and the College of Biomedical Sciences (COBS) offers a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences degree designed for students committed to enhancing their credentials for admission to graduate programs in dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, and other health care fields.
