Dr. Alevtina Pchelova is a highly skilled and compassionate pharmacist with over seven years of experience in diverse areas of pharmaceutical care, including retail pharmacy, specialty medication management, and medication therapy management (MTM).
She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and is licensed to practice in multiple states, including Florida, Illinois, Michigan, and New York. She has developed a deep expertise in a wide range of pharmacy practices and brings a wealth of practical experience and a patient-centered approach to educating the next generation of pharmacists.
In her current role as a staff pharmacist, Dr. Pchelova oversees medication dispensing, administers immunizations, and engages in patient care programs to improve community health outcomes. Her work in both retail and specialty pharmacies has provided her with extensive experience managing complex patient care, particularly in areas such as HIV, oncology, and Immunosuppression. Her commitment to optimizing therapeutic outcomes has led her to lead initiatives such as Flu & COVID-19 Clinics and MTM programs, which have contributed to her pharmacies’ growth and visibility.
Fluent in both English and Russian, Dr. Pchelova is also a strong advocate for improving healthcare accessibility to diverse communities. She continues to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and remains committed to advancing patient education, promoting health literacy, and improving healthcare outcomes for all.
