Dr. Jessica Greenwood graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology specializing in neuroscience in 2008. After serving as a Miami-Dade County chemistry teacher for several years, Dr. Greenwood attended Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of pharmacy and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2018. Following her graduation, she completed her first-year post-graduate training at Baptist Hospital of Miami, followed by a secondary year at NSU specializing in Psychiatry. After completion of her residency training, she rejoined Baptist Hospital of Miami in 2020 where she currently serves as a Neurology Pharmacy Specialist. She precepts residents and pharmacy students from NSU or the University of Florida for internal medicine and/or neurology. She also is a member of the Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) stroke committee and neuroscience operations to assist in formulary reviews for BHSF. Dr. Greenwood has been active in the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists and has published in reputable journals.
