Dr. Maria Maniscalco is Adjunct Faculty at Larkin University College of Pharmacy (LUCOP) in Miami, Florida. Dr. Maniscalco is the Population Health Clinical Pharmacist for Holy Cross Physician Partners ACO, supporting over 40 primary care providers, the Holy Cross AgeWell Center and ACO Quality Team. Previous to her current position, Dr. Maniscalco worked at Optum/UnitedHealth group for 9 years, starting as a clinical team manager than advancing to quality manager and interprofessional program developer/assessor for the HouseCalls division. Dr. Maniscalco served as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Nova Southeastern University COP for 7 years where she taught ambulatory care therapeutic courses with a focus on asthma, COPD, diabetes and communications. Dr. Maniscalco also taught courses for the University of Florida Masters in Medication Management and currently serves as a Career Coach.  

Dr. Maniscalco publishes under the name Dr. Maria Maniscalco Feichtl. Her research preference focuses on pharmacist-patient communications. Dr. Maniscalco is active in American Pharmacist Association Medication Management Special Interest Group and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Ambulatory Care PRN group. Dr. Maniscalco graduated from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health in Queens, NY, and completed her Ambulatory Specialty Residency at NSU COP. 

Dr. Maniscalco describes herself as Eclectic, Scientific and Creative. She lives in South Florida with her husband and daughter and two adorable kittens who are currently ruling her home. She likes to enjoy the outdoors on the weekends, travel North to see family and friends and seek the local restaurants that create delicious gluten-free meals.
