Dr. Ricardo Bermudez is an advanced clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2021. Following graduation, Dr. Bermudez completed a Pharmacy Practice Year 1 (PGY-1) residency at Palmetto General Hospital, where he honed his clinical skills and gained expertise in hospital pharmacy. After completing his residency, Dr. Bermudez joined HCA Mercy Hospital, where he currently serves as a clinical pharmacist in the critical care unit. In this role, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in high-acuity environments where patients face complex, life-threatening conditions. Alongside his interest in critical care, Dr. Bermudez is deeply passionate about neurology and psychiatry. He is committed to expanding his expertise, staying current with advancements, and utilizing innovative approaches to improve patient care and outcomes. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bermudez enjoys teaching and mentoring pharmacy students and residents. He finds great fulfillment in sharing his knowledge and helping the next generation of pharmacists develop their skills. His commitment to education reflects his desire to make a lasting impact on the profession and to foster a culture of continuous learning in the healthcare community.
